Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM Lens
August 20, 2007
Canon has updated their wide angle 14mm lens and it looks like it could be very interesting to us architectural photographers. The widest I use now is a 16mm, but those extra couple of millimeters could come in handy for those ultra-tight bathroom shots. This was mentioned in the same press release as the 1Ds Mark III.

Use the term "Vancouver 2010" and You Might Get Slapped
August, 2007

Camera market to peak in 2010, IDC says
April 24, 2007
Apparently a slowdown is coming in the digital camera market, except for Digital SLR's. After reading this story and searching for "IDC" to see who they were (I'm still not entirely sure as I couldn't find a reference to this information on the sites I did find), I found an article posted in 2005 saying the camera market would peak in 2007. Guess who made that prediction? Yep, IDC. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Microsoft in cooperation with Adobe also has released a beta version of Photoshop CS2 and CS3 plug-ins for reading and writing in HD Photo format.
